LabVantage to acquire SQL-LIMS
Software Point’s business partner LabVantage Solutions is taking a big step in the process of becoming the no. 1 LIMS vendor in the world.
LabVantage CEO Jim Aurelio has yesterday announced the acquisition of the SQL*LIMS business from Applied Biosystems. Applied Biosystems is a global corporation, with head quarters in California, with focus on equipment and testing services for life sciences. Their SQL*LIMS is used worldwide and they have a strong presence in Europe. Sapphire LIMS will continue as the flagship product of LabVantage.
