Improving decision making and performance with Laboratory intelligence

This session addresses the potential of intelligent use of valuable laboratory data. Kurt Fjellanger has a background as geochemist/geologist from his work for the French oil company Elf from 1980 to 1990. In 1990 he was employed at Skretting ARC as Laboratory Manager for the research facilities located in Stavanger, Norway. Skretting ARC is the research center of Skretting, the world no. 1 fish feed company. Kurt has for a number of years had functional responsibility for analysis work performed in Skretting’s feed factories globally. From 2007 he managed the Analysis & Modelling Technology department at Skretting ARC, and since 2008 his responsibility also incudes the role as Industrial IT Manager for the business Group Skretting. After 2009 his focus has been fully within manufacturing IT, and he is currently Manufacturing IT Process Information Manager for the Skretting Group.
