LIMS Database - from data graveyard to management asset?

Detailed data in the LIMS database is a potentially valuable basis for building data warehouse applications supporting process development and other laboratory management purposes. This session discusses basic concepts and practical implementations of using LIMS data for business intelligence (BI), customer relations management (CRM) and activity based costing (ABC) in laboratories. Several cases will be presented to share practical experiences.

After working for PriceWaterhouseCoopers Plc he joined Datawell in 1999 and is responsible for consulting and delivery of BI-applications to several major clinical laboratories. He has also been involved in scientific activities in the area of Clinical Management Accounting.
